This Council holds Ordinary meetings once a month and, if necessary, Extra-ordinary meetings will also be held to deal with urgent issues where a decision is required before the next Ordinary meeting.
All meetings are open to the public and are held in the Annexe room of the Mechanics Institute in Kirkby Malzeard unless otherwise indicated. The Ordinary meetings take place on the last Monday of the month, unless they coincide with a Bank Holiday or Xmas week, when they will usually be held on the previous Monday.
The Annual Meeting of the Parish Council, where the Chair and Vice-Chair are elected, and Council procedural documents are re-adopted etc, will be next be held in May 2025.
Agendas for Council meetings are made available to the public at least 3 clear days before a meeting, on this website. It will therefore be published no later than the Wednesday before the meeting on a Monday. Agendas are usually also posted on the public noticeboards in Kirkby Malzeard (on the front of the Mechanics Institute), Laverton (to the East of the former Chapel) and Dallowgill (noticeboard on wall of the Outdoor Centre).
